How do people put links to their twitter and facebook on there myspace? Ive seen a lot of people put the logo to there facebook and twitter and you click it and it takes your to there stuff.

I have heard about the original twitter app "Twitter", echofon, and TweetDeck. I want to know what is the best twitter app out of these 3? Or better yet, do you know another app that is better than the ones I have already listed? I want to know the best one that has the overall best positive reviews.

"Twitter" because it is the only one made directly by Twitter therefor the features will be the best and most similar to the site itself.

I have browsed Twitter for a while now but having signed up and logged in, I cannot seem to find the actual homepage with scrolling trends, top tweets and ‘See who’s here’. Can it still be accessed without having to log out?

Nope. You have to sign out to see the homepage.

These two seem to be the same thing, minus the fact that twitter can text you people’s updates. Why get a twitter when you can just use facebook?

Twitter is just another social site like Facebook. While Twitter is kind of like a status updater, it can be used for MANY other things. You can have conversations with people (Like an IM). You can promote your website, blog, band or whatever. You can connect it to a lot of other sites online so that you can update your followers of whatever you do on that site. Twitter is a whole other world. So if you want to connect & meet new people, you should definitely get a Twitter account as well.

When I search out someone that is famous that I am interested in following, there are usually multiple accounts trying to be that person. Is there a way on Twitter to figure out who the real person is?

Many of the celebrities or popular public figures on Twitter have had their account "verified."
Go to their profile. Look on the righthand side, right above their name, location, etc. If you see a blue badge with a check in it and the words "verified account" next to it, you know they’re the real deal.

If you create a Twitter account but don’t use it for awhile, how long will it be before Twitter deletes it? And how often do you have to use the Twitter account in order to keep it active?

I keep getting twitter updates on my phone. I removed the people following me that i keep getting them from, removed my number from the mobile page in my settings. I emailed twitter about it. And i still keep getting them. Is there any solution besides deleting my account and having to start over.

Go to the mobile tab in your Twitter settings and switch the device updates to "off". Click the link below when you are logged in to Twitter and it will take you there.

when it says verified on twitter does it mean that that is the real person?

Yes it means that they are the real celebrity,not just a poser.

I lost the password to my twitter account and I really want to see the things I posted on there. Sadly, no one followed me except me and a couple of my friends. Now I want to find my twitter page but there’s no real twitter user search. What can I do?

If you have forgotten your password, go onto the homepage and click the sign in drop down button. There will be a link saying ‘Forgotten your password?’. Click it and type in your email address or username and they will send you instructions to get your password via email.
If for some reason you do not want to/can not do this then if you can remember your twitter username, you can type in www.twitter.com/[your username] and that will be your page. If not you may have to make another twitter account with a different email (which can be easily made on www.msn.com) and then search for your old account on there using the ‘Find People’ button.
